An application for Redesignation from Special Purpose — Future Urban Development (S-FUD) District to Industrial – General (I-G) District to allow for the existing use on the site of:

Large Vehicle and Equipment Salesmeans a use where large vehicles and equipment used in road construction, building construction, agricultural operations, oil and gas operations or other similar industries are sold, rented or leased.”

 

About the Site:

The parcel is a flat, 7,486.49 SM (1.85 acre) lot on 84 Street SE (north of Glenmore Trail [84th Street no longer connects to this roadway]). The site currently operates as a storage and sales facility for truck and trailer sales, as well as having a signal tower on the site.

The surrounding context is Industrial – General zoning to the north, Glenmore Trail to the south, Stoney Trail to the west, and industrial uses under the Rocky View County bylaw to the East.

This redesignation seeks to designate the land to an industrial zoning to allow the operations existing on the site.
